These images originated by various methods. Some were photos of collage are work I personally created. Some were taken of places or characters, Bit the majority were born in a very particular way. Macro lenses were used to capture small, detailed environments within a larger environment. Add to that, The content or environment of these photos are of “sets” I build.

These sets are built by hand and constructed of many, many items, small and large. These sets are usually about the size of a good work desk. I compile unique items , some antiques some modern to create these new worlds. These set builds can take up to two weeks to build. I also stage very particular lighting around the sets. I only use either natural light or conventional home lighting, small and large lamps, different style / color bulbs etc.

All of these photos are made via a very lengthy, well thought out process. All items shown are collected, bought or made over periods lasting up to a year.
